Creating memories and inspiring traditions is an important aspect in our lives. Many times, these memories and traditions are associated with a location, like someone’s home or a specific location where everyone meets.
Our role at Stebnitz Builders, is to help our clients create the perfect setting to build new memories and traditions, by renovating their homes.
With this in mind, here are a few of our own memories. From long-standing traditions that have carried on since childhood, to more recent stories of fun and relaxation, these memories last a lifetime and add even more value to the Independence Day weekend we look forward to with our families.
Scott Bray, one of our lead carpenters, shared a memory of the holiday weekend two summers ago. He spent the weekend with his girlfriend Paula and her family in Minocqua, WI. They found the perfect place to park their pontoon. They spent the day lounging on a peaceful beach and spending time with family. Their day ended by taking the pontoon across the lake to watch the fireworks. Great memories, for sure.
Ryan Hibl, our Production Manager, has spent the last 40 years camping at Lake Joy Campground over the holiday weekend. He enjoyed the tradition of having the entire family together to at the same location, laughing and sharing memories. Today, he and his family are creating new traditions and memories at his parents' new property on Delavan Lake. He always looks forward to the Fourth of July, as it means spending quality time with his family.
Blaine Voss, one of our carpenters, is starting a new Fourth of July tradition this year as he and his wife will venture to Crivitz, WI. They have camped there in the past and recently purchased a lake property that they look forward to creating a home on. They look forward to their inaugural weekend away and creating memories at their new lake home for many years.
Cindy Whalen, our Office Manager, attends the Elks Grand Lodge Convention where she connects with friends from around the country. During this convention they raise money for scholarships, veterans’ programs, and other community programs. Although the location may change, the traditions and comradery pick right up where it left off the previous year.
