This article caught my eye. With all the shows on TV telling you how easy it is to fix up your house, car, etc. I found it refreshing for [DIY](http://www.diylife.com) to come out with the list of 10 projects you SHOULDN'T do on your own for various reasons.
> ***Obviously, we love all things DIY! But some [home projects](http://www.diylife.com/2010/09/14/diy-projects-that-can-devalue-your-home/) are just not worth doing on your own: Whether for time, cost or safety reasons. I asked Jeff Kaliner, co-founder of the [Power Home Remodeling Group](http://www.powerhrg.com/) (the fourth largest home remodeling company in the nation) for his opinion on what should be left to the pros.***
**[Here's the list.](http://www.diylife.com/2011/07/29/10-home-projects-you-should-never-diy/)**
Check out this video for a few more reasons why DIY might not be in your best interest - and if you decide to do it anyway, leave the video camera off.
If your home is in need of one of these projects, or another not on this list that doesn't fit your comfort level, feel free to contact [Stebnitz Builders](http://www.facebook.com/StebnitzBuilders) at (800) 410-8027 for an expert opinion on the best way to finish the repair. 40 years in the remodeling industry give us a lot of personal experience on which projects just aren't worth the risk for homeowners and what the best way to complete those really are.
