About two months ago, we were approached by the folks at Make-A-Wish to see if we could help a little girl in Delavan make her Wish come true. Her wish was to have a play area that she and her brothers could play video games and she could work on the crafts she enjoys working on.
The existing area gave her none of these and left mom wanting an area that could be organized, efficient and FUN!
After talking with Lily, we went to work.
Geneva Cabinet in Lake Geneva helped design the area to best fit her needs, DP Electric donated a television and computer monitor and Great Lakes Countertops donated the countertop for the new area.
Kudos go out to our Production Manager, Mike Jeffrey who made this all happen in time for the party and to Chad Maass, a long-time carpenter at Stebnitz Builders who worked feverishly with Mike to install everything and make it look spectacular!
We want to thank Make-A-Wish for giving us the opportunity to help a really cool little girl and her family, all the companies that donated to this Wish and Lily for allowing us in to her life to share this experience with her.
