It is important to note that it is ILLEGAL for any contractor to even "bid" on a project that contains lead without being certified. Unfortunately, there are contractors out there who are choosing to bypass the expense and time to become certified - betting against the fact that they will be caught, fined and the project they're working on shut down for an undetermined amount of time. Pretty scary.
