A big thank you to the Elkhorn Area School District for recognizing Stebnitz Builders with a "Friend of Elkhorn Area School District" award last Monday night. 25 individuals and companies were honored with this distinction at the awards presentation held at Jackson Elementary School.
Along with the honor of being recognized, the award we received is unique. It truly is a one-of-a-kind award. All recipients received a framed and matted painting created by a sixth grade student from Elkhorn Area Middle School. Our award was created by Fransisco Sosa and now hangs proudly in our showroom. For those who haven't seen it, here's a photo of Fransisco’s work. We are proud to say that we have one of the first “Fransisco Sosa” pieces on display. We look forward to Mr. Sosa doing many more great pieces in the future.
Working with schools and their students for many years, now has become one of our passions. Helping students succeed is a very rewarding experience whether it's coaching a team, reading to a class or popping popcorn for the entire school. The smiles we get from these experiences are priceless.
We encourage everyone to help make a difference in a child's life by being involved in their school. The power of your actions will be felt by many students for many years.
